Vision or Plan
Do we really have a choice?

Recently, I heard the question: what’s more important – vision or a plan? But do we really have to choose?
Vision, often fueled by strong motivation, is what gets us moving. The plan is the structured guide that keeps us on course – especially when things get tough. Both complement each other. Without one, success remains uncertain.

A vision – your inner compass. Your why.
But as powerful as it may be, without form it remains just a beautiful feeling.

So: write down your goals. Create a plan. Not because you already have all the answers – but especially when you don’t.
A plan brings clarity to your thoughts, structure to your actions – and turns a vague idea into a concrete project. And along the way? Everything evolves.
You. Your idea. Your path.

According to a study by the Dominican University of California (Dr. Gail Matthews, 2015), people who write down their goals and develop a plan of action are 42% more likely to achieve them – compared to those who keep their goals only in their minds.

Your plan is more than structure – it’s your anchor.

Also in teams, a clear plan is invaluable: everyone knows where they’re going.
No confusion, no pulling in different directions – just focus, reliability, and shared progress.

Conclusion: Yes, have a vision. But give it direction. Write it down. Define your goals. Make a plan – even if you don’t yet know exactly how to get there. The plan will grow with you. And it will help you keep going – even when things get tough.
